About Call9: Call9 is recreating the patient experience by bringing care to the patient. Our innovative model connects off-site physicians with on-site emergency medicine trained first-responders via a proprietary telemedicine platform born of Silicon Valley and improved, every day, by our physician and product teams. Call9 provides a spectrum of emergency, follow-up, and palliative care services at the patient’s bedside in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Our physician team prevents harmful and unnecessary transfers to the hospital, delivering high quality, value-based care, that improves outcomes, saves money, and provides a superior experience for the patient, their family, and our physicians.

Primary Job Function: As a Clinical Care Specialist you will respond to acute needs of skilled nursing facility residents and initiate utilization of the Call9 interactive videoconferencing suite. On any given day you may find yourself performing 12-lead EKGs, live streaming telemetry, performing bedside ultrasound and point of care lab tests all while communicating with a Call9 emergency medicine physician in real time. The Clinical Care Specialist will also provide patient monitoring as requested by the Call9 physician.

Qualifications

  • Emergency medical experience required (EMS or emergency department).
  • Ability to remain calm in a demanding setting.
  • Willingness to serve as company ambassador.
  • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
  • Must be proficient in phlebotomy and performing EKGs.
  • Tech savvy, comfortable with cloud-based software, mobile devices.
  • Hard working and extremely punctual.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with other healthcare professionals.
  • Especially courteous bedside manner.
  • Strong problem solving skills.

Requirements

  • EKG/Phlebotomy: 1 year
  • IV Placement: 1 year
  • Emergency Medical: 1 year
  • Education: High School
