Clinical Social Work Program Lead
Clinical Lead/Oncology Social Worker
Jasper Health is an early stage, fast-paced company with a noble mission to provide a digital experience to improve the lives of cancer patients and their caregivers throughout their treatment and remission journeys. The company recently announced its official launch and was covered by high impact media outlets including USA Today, HIT Consultant, and MarketWatch. The direct-to-consumer offering will always be made free to cancer patients and their caregivers, while business partners (health plans, health systems, employers, life sciences, etc.) are the primary source of revenue. Jasper Health is funded and supported by Redesign Health, with a recent round of funding led by 7wire Ventures, known for such digital health stand outs as Livongo, which merged in an $18.5 billion transaction with Teladoc late last year.
As our clinical lead, you will provide support, coaching, and professional navigation to our members and their families. You will:
- Work directly with Jasper members to ensure they feel supported and equipped to manage their care. Provide assistance with resource navigation, education, and support using the Jasper platform.
- Create evidence-based rules to trigger interventions with members, inclusive of leveraging evidence-based exception management to proactively reach out to members based on patient-reported information.
- Develop and offer live coaching and social work navigation strategies and programming. Test and learn through pilots and trials to support a scalable program. Evaluate success of programming utilizing standardized processes.
- Advise the team as to the lived experience of people living with cancer, in terms of the psychosocial, spiritual, and clinical experience of members and their families. This will include advising the content-writers, engineers, sales team and others when trying to problem-solve how to make Jasper the most useful tool to those living with cancer.
- Use creative problem solving skills to inform improvements to Jasper and its provision of care.
- Represent clinical aspects of Jasper with the rest of the team on sales calls/business-to-business calls.
