About the opportunity:

As a two-sided digital image marketplace, Shutterstock benefits both contributors who want to earn while displaying their images and videos, and customers who want to access and license that content.

Shutterstock is looking for a Contributor Experience Specialist, Product Operations to identify and assess issues our contributors may be having with the product, as well as advocate for their experience using our marketplace. 

Seated in our NYC office and reporting to the Manager, Global Customer Care Product Operations, you will build and maintain relationships with technical development and product teams to ensure we are aware of and prepared for new, updated or broken products/services so that we can best serve our contributors and customers.

As the Contributor Experience Specialist, Product Operations:

You can expect to...

  • Champion the needs of contributors and customers by quantifying software and systems issue impacts
  • Work with Customer Care Operations and Team Leads to triage and escalate critical bugs with appropriate product and tech team.
  • Coordinate with Global Customer Care (GCC) Operations team to plan the roll-out and adoption of new processes and product changes
  • Analyze voice of the customer data, capturing, organizing and championing priorities that will increase customer satisfaction
  • Use feedback to ideate on enhancement ideas to promote with the product organization
  • Identify initiatives that will reduce the effort of our contributors and customers when accessing/using our systems
  • Positively contribute to our key performance indicators of improving customer satisfaction, increasing contributor/customer engagement and reducing escalations.
  • Advocate for contributor and customers at every opportunity

You will need...

  • A degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in a customer service role
  • Experience in data analysis and impact assessments and interpreting those for business leaders
  • Experience collaborating across functional areas
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with agile system development, a plus
  • Knowledge of SalesForce as a customer service tool, a plus
