Lightyear Health is looking for a Credentialing Associate to assist in the licensing and credentialing function for our clinical team. You’ll work directly with the Credentialing Manager within the People Team and Clinical team to perform payor credentials, and handle long-term licensing and renewals for our clinical staff.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Leverage your expertise in the medical field to assist in the credentialing function at Lightyear Health.
  • Perform payor credentialing, and maintain payor participation records for providers.
  • Work with database software to keep it organized and up to date.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with skilled nursing facilities, and communicate provider information.
  • Ensure complete confidentiality of all credentialing and licensing.
  • Create a white glove approach for licensing and renewals.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in building and maintaining credentialing systems within the medical field.
  • Strong attention to detail and a “do what it takes” attitude.  
  • Critical thinking skills to conduct follow-up for internal and external entities during the credentialing process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project management tools such as monday.com, asana, and trello. Knowledge of credentialing systems and software such as CAQH, PECOS, Availity, and Modio.
  • Ability to pick things up quickly and be a great problem solver. You will have mentorship in this role but also be expected to work autonomously on projects.
  • Experience with modern communication and workflow tools such as Zoom, Slack, Google Suite.

Anticipated Salary Range

We’re committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $50,000 and $60,000 CAD annually. All team members also receive a stock option grant. The exact salary will depend on (1) how many years of relevant and transferable experience the candidate brings to the role and (2) the internal level at which the candidate is hired in relation to our career development framework.
