Role Overview
As a Credentialing Manager at Grow Therapy, you’ll play a leading role in credentialing and enrolling mental health practitioners in our group with insurance plans across the country. We're looking for an experienced manager with an entrepreneurial spirit.
What You'll Do
- Manage our +5 person credentialing team, to ensure the proper collection of credentialing material, submission of applications, and follow-up on enrollments for providers in our group.
- Maintain our credentialing database, keeping up-to-date provider enrollment statuses, demographic information, and monitoring for trends or issues in the credentialing pipeline.
- Oversee monthly Credentialing Committees, working closely with our medical director to audit files and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Research new potential payer partners and prepare applications per their requirements.
- Collaborate with and sustain positive relationships with Grow providers, internal operations teams, and provider relations personnel at managed care organizations, answering questions, sharing updates, or processing requests related to credentialing information.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Credentialing Manager in behavioral health with 5+ years of relevant health plan contracting/credentialing experience required
- Expert knowledge of provider enrollment processes and requirements for CMS Federal, state and commercial payer guidelines related to enrollment, re-enrollment and policies preferred
- Delegated credentialing experience and knowledge of NCQA standards preferred
- Able to deal with ambiguity, lead a team, and adapt easily to change in a startup environment
- Detail oriented and high degree of organizational skills with effective multitasking abilities
- Bonus (great to have but not required): Remote work experience preferred
