About the opportunity:

To accomplish our goals, we equip our Customer Care teams with award-winning customer service from our Customer Care Advocates.

We are now accepting applications for enthusiastic and passionate Customer Care Advocates in our Shutterstock Berlin office! 

Reporting directly to a Customer Care Manager, you will communicate via phone, email, and/or live chat while collaborating with your team members across the globe in New York City and Singapore! You can expect to answer product questions, troubleshoot user issues, develop relationships with the customers, and handle any other miscellaneous care needs. 

Important notes about this opening:

  • We will only contact applicants who are fluent or native level in English and Turkish.
  • This role may have a specified shift different from standard business hours, such as 7:00 to 17:00, 8:00 to 18:00, 9:00 to 19:00, 24:00-9:00, and may require a weekend day.
  • You must have a valid Right to Work and accept employment in Berlin, Germany to be considered for this opportunity. 

As a Customer Care Advocate:

You can expect to...

  • Listen to and determine the best product for customers in English and Turkish
  • Meet or exceed monthly metrics, including volume of inquiries solved and referrals produced for sales
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Navigate customer's organization to find additional opportunities and contacts
  • Attend to all aspects of customer care in courteous and professional manner
  • Patiently assist customers with varying technical skills and communicate effectively to all levels
  • Multitask in fast paced environment with a high volume of communications

To be successful, you need...

  • Fully Bilingual in English and Turkish (non-negotiable)
  • A degree from a 4-year university
  • 2+ years of successful Customer Service experience
  • Ability to thrive within and adapt to organizational changes
  • Your peers would say that you're highly organized and detail oriented 

Extras we would love to see...

  • Understanding of Photoshop and digital imaging manipulation techniques
  • You have some knowledge of stock photography licensing terms (ie, royalty free versus rights managed)
