Updater is looking for a Customer Experience Temp to help us wrap up the moving season, the busiest time of the year for us Updateers.

As our Customer Experience Temp, you’ll be on the frontline to help us answer tickets, process user requests and be a helping hand to users as needed. A typical day will include responding to user inquiries via email, data entry, processing user requests, and keeping an eye out for technical issues with your day-to-day responsibilities. Our ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, knows their way around Microsoft Excel (Google Sheets), and thoroughly enjoys helping others. 

What you’ll do:

  • Process user requests as a large data set
  • Respond to inbound user inquiries and tickets
  • Send outbound tickets as needed
  • Follow a specific process, and propose changes if you think it can be better

What you’ll have:

  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Amazing written communication skills 
  • An eye for detail, which is a must
  • Some technical knowledge (you know how to reset your modem)
  • The ability to work both individually without much oversight, and within a team on specific projects

Tools you know how to use:

  • Excel or Google Sheets
  • Zendesk, FreshDesk, or other ticketing system (optional)

This is a part-time temporary position, roughly 20-23 hours per week Mon-Fri
