Customer Strategy Lead

Custora, the leading customer analytics platform for retailers, is expanding its footprint into the travel and
hospitality industry. As we deepen our relationships with some of the world’s most iconic leisure brands,
we’re looking for a Customer Strategy Lead with a unique blend of left-brain analytical chops and right-
brain people skills to cement our position as the go-to partner for customer-obsessed hoteliers, cruise
lines, casinos, airlines and more.


As a senior member of our Customer Success team, you will represent Custora by acting as a
consultative thought partner, co-innovator and marketing strategist - helping travel and hospitality clients
infuse deep guest insights into every internal decision and every guest touchpoint through the use of our
software. Since this is a strategic growth area for Custora, you’ll also get to double as a product guru and
growth hacker – helping our product management team optimize our platform based on client feedback,
and partnering with Sales and Marketing to dream up new go-to-market initiatives that expand our
customer base in travel.

Things you’ll do:

  • Serve as the face of Custora for key enterprise customer relationships, from onboarding to
    ongoing support and quarterly business reviews.
  • Perform quantitative analysis and articulate game-changing insights to help customers launch
    effective marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a thought partner and change catalyst for your customers, helping to evangelize customer-
    obsessed marketing metrics across their organization.
  • Educate customers on new features and changes in the product.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and product teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
    and help Custora grow its footprint in travel and hospitality.
  • Become an expert in digital travel marketing (or maybe you already are!) and stay current on
    cutting edge developments in the function as well as the industry.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and support development of long-term strategy
    initiatives.


Things you have:

  •  6+ years of professional experience in as a marketer, strategist, consultant, or e-commerce/
    CRM/ MarTech expert.
  • Maybe you're a fresh MBA grad, or a marketing manager (perhaps at a travel company),
    or a strategist at a SaaS company, or you've been working in management consulting for
    the last few years. We’re more interested in enthusiasm and mindset than in titles.
  • Industry knowledge. Travel & hospitality expertise is a bonus; enthusiasm for learning about
    travel & hospitality industry is a must.
  • Top notch analytical skills. You love data and have experience producing in-depth analyses that
    produce meaningful business outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication skills. You love interacting with customers and presenting to senior-
    level stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and openness. You thrive in cross-functional team environments and jump at the
    opportunity to take on responsibility outside of your job description.
  • Leadership skills. You enjoy leading teams and mentoring junior team members.
  • Positivity and awesomeness. You are excited about being an integral part of a fast moving start-
    up and consider no job too small.
