About the Role
As a Customer Support Associate, you will be instrumental in delivering a first-class experience for our patients. You'll be the face of Season's fulfillment and support functions and responsible for a large number of patient interactions and food orders. These include activities like messaging patients to help them log into their accounts, to working with food vendors to ensure the patient gets their food orders successfully to speaking with patients via phone to help them navigate food choices to place an order. You will ensure that Season users have a great experience and get their questions answered.
In this role, you will facilitate Season's food ordering service by working with internal tools and third party service to get patients their individualized food orders. Your role will primarily focus on both managing and resolving any user questions or issues that arise and also servicing inbound requests for food orders. You'll work independently in your patient-facing service and operations work, and will also collaborate across the entire Customer Ops team to identify challenges, craft solutions and implement those solutions. You'll also contribute by identifying opportunities to improve our product and services for users and clarifying challenges or ideas for improvements with the Product, Clinical and Engineering teams. All of this is in support of your Season team building a world class experience for our patients.
This role is a non-exempt role.
What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality customer support by engaging with patients across a number of modalities (e.g. text, phone, email) to manage and respond to any incoming requests from patients
  • Manage the fulfillment of individual food orders on Season's platform through various food vendors
  • Serve as the front line between Season and the clinicians and patients who use our platform
  • Contribute to and collaborate with a team managing all orders throughout the end-to-end order fulfillment process
  • Perform operational duties including documenting ingredient substitutions and patient interactions in Season's internal tools
  • Offer feedback on new order fulfillment tooling and features as they're developed
  • Alongside and Culinary and Clinical team, clarify information regarding nutrition prescriptions (including client preferences) with both clients and their referring Registered Dietitian or provider, particularly for clients with complex needs
  • Identify opportunities for improving Season by leveraging both your operational experience and patient feedback


You Have

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers through phone, email and SMS interactions
  • Strong customer orientation with a deep sense of empathy and a passion for helping people
  • A self-starting mindset and high sense of ownership; you readily identify opportunities for improving existing ways of doing things
  • Regular availability on some M-F evenings (until 8pm EST) and weekends (at least 1 weekend a month)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • And ability to learn quickly and are excited by ambiguity and a faster pace of working
  • Preferred but not required:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Prior experience in a customer service role
