Customer Support Associate
Radish Fiction, a mobile app for serialized fiction, seeks a Customer Support Associate to serve as the first line of support for readers and writers on the platform. This position is the opportunity to be part of a fast growing start-up with dynamic teams in both New York and Seoul. Responsibilities will include resolving account, payment, and application issues, as well as supporting the product team through the prioritization and escalation of bugs. Applicants should have a passion for problem solving and giving customers first rate, timely service while addressing their needs.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to filter detailed information into effective communications
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize support issues by severity of impact
- Ability to help foster a positive, highly-productive, and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to collaborate with remote teams to resolve issues
- Extremely organized, self-starter with strong time management skills
- Some familiarity with customer support tools.
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Open to flexible working hours - including some evening meetings with our Korea team
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with remote teams
- Familiarity with Romance genre fiction
- Knows some Korean
Note: This position is based out of our New York City office. Initial onboarding and work will be remote but with the expectation of being in the NYC office when social distancing measures are eased.
