Meeting your future team:

As a Customer Validation Manager, you will be joining the Product Operations team and report to the VP Product Operations. The Product Operations team works at the intersection between Product, Design, Customer Success, and  Engineering. The mission of the team is to be a trusted partner, providing process and information in support of bringing a better experience and more value to our customers faster.

The Customer Validation Manager will be instrumental in nurturing a customer centric approach for validating and improving new products and capabilities before making them generally available to all customers. The Customer Validation Manager will coordinate regular customer validation programs in close collaboration with our Product Marketing, Product Management, Design and Customer Success team. 

Customer Validation Manager's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Collaborate with product leadership to understand the product roadmap and needs for customer validation testing as part of the go-to-market strategy and build the right test scenarios to guarantee a successful launch of the product
  • Build a loyal Collibra test community by recruiting different user profiles within our Collibra customer and partner ecosystem
  • Define the Collibra customer validation test process to allow our Product team to get early feedback from the right customers (and users) in order to release a successful product or capability that brings immediate value to all our customers
  • Be the central point of contact and deliver a great experience for the Collibra users participating during these customer validation tests by maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor towards the participants at all times
  • Ensure successful completion of customer validation tests through effective communication and proactively seeking assistance from other staff members as required to quickly resolve issues and by reporting transparent progress to participants and other key stakeholders

You Have:

  • 4+ years relevant technical experience in the world of Software Quality Assurance, Customer Support, Product Management or User research
  • Great work ethic with an ability to adjust your schedules and time demands to support a crucial process at Collibra with colleagues, customers and partners around the world.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills. Strong project and time management skills and ability to embrace and lead with change.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in running beta test, experience with Centercode or other dedicated beta testing tooling is a strong plus
  • Experience with software development life cycle process and tooling (Jira, Aha, Zendesk, Pendo, etc.)
  • Experience working on SaaS products

You Are:

  • Passionate about delivering the right product and capabilities to end users through collecting targeted feedback on beta versions in order to improve through iteration and bring more value for the get-go to all customers
  • Process minded as you know you can’t accelerate at scale without continuously improving processes and supporting tooling
  • Familiar with supporting different types of stakeholders, and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and global environment
  • A strong communicator in English, both written and oral. You’ve applied those skills for technical and business audiences to explain new product capabilities and communicate related test plans, test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Experienced at identifying, prioritizing, and getting buy-in for solving product issues and improvement request that come out of the beta programs

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will be successfully onboarded in the Product, Design, and Engineering team and you will be more familiar with all Collibra’s Data Intelligence Cloud products like Data Governance, Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Privacy, and Data Lineage
  • Within three months, you will have established and agreed a first version of an end to end customer validation process, supported by a best in class system
  • Within your six months, you will have facilitated customer validation programs for at least 3 new products or capabilities in close collaboration with key stakeholders
