Opportunity:

Shutterstock is seeking an enthusiastic Team Lead to oversee our new Data Stewardship team. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Support, the Data Steward Team Lead will manage a team of 1-2 Data Stewards, who ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the company's systems. The ideal profile would be a data-driven, highly organized and detail oriented individual who has the ability to motivate other members of the organization to understand and support data management policies and procedures.  

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of skilled and passionate Data Stewards
• Maintain SOP’s, training documentation, and procedures related to data quality and stewardship
• Ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the company's database
• Creation and monitoring of data stewardship metrics on throughput and quality
• Monitoring the Data Governance JIRA boards to ensure all tickets are handled
• Act as a coach-player directly handling Data Governance tickets
• Handle data quality escalations raised by the Finance Team
• Hire, onboard, train and coach new Data Stewards
• Provide leadership, education, and communication to direct reports and other stakeholders on data governance, stewardship, and quality activities
• Assists with special projects as needed based on business needs

Requirements:

• 2 + years administrative experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of SalesForce as a power user required
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce a plus: reports, dashboards, etc.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience as a Data Steward is a plus
• Experience with JIRA & Google Suite is a plus
• Experience with SQL is a plus
