Deal Desk Analyst
About the Role
Namely Deal Desk plays a critical role in driving deal flow from order to cash. The individual will partner closely with the Finance, Sales, and Legal departments to shepherd deals from the moment an order is being created, until contract is executed and financials are recorded.
Responsibilities
- Support consistent, scalable deal flow process
- High attention to sales team needs to ensure speed to close
- Partner with sales and legal to help structure complicated non-standard deals
- Troubleshoot and support sales order process in CPQ and SFDC where needed
- Project manage and process optimization to reduce cycle time on deals from opportunity to execution
- Proactively examine pipeline to ensure deals align to company standards
- Ensure deal flow aligns to company pricing rules and downstream needs
- Establish and audit internal controls that increase predictability and lower financial risk
- Liaison between various business units and finance department
- Assist closing components of ARR on monthly cadence
- Seek out opportunities to improve financial processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business
- Five years of private company experience
- Versed in revenue recognition; CRM and Billing systems
- Strong contract management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail, must maintain sense of due dates on deliverables
Nice to Have
- SalesForce or related CRM experience
- Zuora/NetSuite experience
- SaaS Experience
