The Role

We're looking for an IT Specialist! In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to Ceros employees and serve as the first point of contact for help desk support. You will also be spearhead on-boarding and off-boarding processes for Ceros employees and will take a lead on rolling out new IT initiatives across the company.

This role is a remote hybrid position, and requires ability to be present in our New York office on a weekly basis.Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to your fellow Cerosians with day to day needs:
    • Hardware, software, identity and access management, etc
  • Assist with IT asset tracking / lifecycle management duties
  • Assist with documentation, training, and rollout of new IT platforms and systems
  • Provide on/offboarding support (account management, hardware and software procurement)
  • Assist with MDM and IdP platform usage configuration (Jamf, Google Workspace, Okta)
  • Assist with IT related projects as needed (new technologies and integrations)

Skills and Requirements

  • 2-3 years of IT experience in a support position 
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills:
    • Good soft skills, positive attitude, and emotional intelligence
    • Technical writing and communication skills
  • A passion for all things IT, including learning new technologies and bringing new ideas to the table
  • Experience and familiarity with automation (scripting, integrations, etc)
  • Experience and familiarity with the following tools, systems, and platforms:
    • MDM solutions (Jamf, Workspace One)
    • Productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office / 365)
    • Chat and video conferencing software/hardware (Slack, Zoom)
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with basic networking:
    • WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, WiFi
    • Standard services and protocols (Email, SSL certificates)
    • Ubiquiti/Unifi, Cisco Meraki, and other cloud based networking environments
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with end user hardware:
    • Apple laptops, desktops, and tablets, and smartphones
    • Windows based laptops and desktops
    • Android tablets and smartphones
    • Printers/Copiers
    • A/V systems and hardware (TVs, monitors, video/music systems)
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with end user software:
    • Mac and Windows operating systems
    • Browsers, Mail Clients, Productivity Suites (Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud) 
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with Security related topics:
    • Identity and access management, identity providers, SAML/SSO/SCIM
    • SOC/ISO 27K or related industry compliance certification duties
      • Evidence collection, corrective actions and remediations
    • EDR/Anti-Virus applications and threat remediation
    • Security Awareness training facilitation and administration

Ceros employees live and work all over the world, but our HQ is in New York and we’ve got offices in London and Prague.
