Desktop Support Technician

We currently support over 40,000 Creators who have collectively sold over $1 billion in courses and coaching on Teachable.
As a Desktop Support Technician, you’ll work alongside our Office Manager to provide the team with top-notch service. You’ll manage the technical needs of the New York office while providing remote support to our team-members across the country. Partnering with the IT Manager you’ll work to procure equipment, manage our network, hardware, conference rooms, and keep things running smoothly. Ideal candidates are curious problem-solvers who love to help out and are excited to learn and grow with the department.
Please note that while Teachable currently offers a hybrid work environment, this is a required, in-office position.
Responsibilities Include
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, responding quickly and efficiently to questions from Teachable employees locally and remotely
- Provide support and access management for Google Workspace environments as well as corporate SaaS systems.
- Maintain an inventory of corporate devices.
- Regular maintenance of Mac and Windows devices.
- Facilitate processes of onboarding and offboarding employees from an IT perspective.
- Procurement and setup of new computers and accounts.
- Provide technical support for events, video conferencing, and audio/visual setups.
- Manage and support an IT ticketing system.
- Documenting processes and steps to be added to the internal knowledge base.

Relevant Experience
- 1+ years in a desktop support or IT analyst role
- Experience troubleshooting MacOS and Windows issues.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and people skills with a willingness to learn.
- Experience supporting and maintaining an office network.
- Experience with audio/visual equipment, conference room displays, and Zoom video conference systems
- Experience with computer management systems (JAMF, Intune, Kandji, etc.)
- JIRA, Okta, and Unifi experience a plus!
