Gooten is hiring for a Manager of Digital Merchandising to lead build out. This role acts as functional lead and shopkeeper for 3rd party merchandise across all categories, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Key responsibilities

- Assortment management and product procurement
- Product catalog management
- Manufacturer management
- Industry research

Detailed duties, tasks and projects

- Build out eCommerce processes and instill merchandising best practices
- Collaborate with the Operations, Growth and Design teams for all product assortment initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for interfacing directly with Manufacturer executive teams as it pertains to any assortment specific strategies or inquiries.
- Maintain relationships with textile printing solution providers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create roadmaps for all website Category Landing Pages, pre-planning behind the merchandising of the Collection Page, as well as “mocking up” Product Page details.
- Responsible for the item setup/creation of Product Pages, as well as auditing and troubleshooting systems to ensure flawless execution via the CMS in prep for go-live.
- Partners with Marketing and Growth teams to validate email distribution, timing, and linking strategy.
- Performs weekly analysis and insights, which include but are not limited to, - Navigation performance, Landing Page Engagement, Basket Analysis, as well as provide recommended actions to implement and measure.
- Initial focus will be on consistently creating product listings and optimizing our merchandising process
- Create artwork and printing SOPs for all manufacturers
- Leverage internal and external data to cross-shop and make sure our listings are market competitive in product presentation, categorization, promotions, and trends
- Support buying, planning, and other internal teams in branded product sales & fulfillment execution
- Using input from Operations team, build the category metrics model to track and monitor performance in relationship to the category strategy
- Partner with Merchandising Data Analyst on product data management

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in digital merchandising
- Strong experience using product data management
- Experience in working with remote teams is a plus
