What We Need

We’re looking for an expert in designing and implementing internal business and data systems to lead Yieldmo’s new Business Systems team. The Business Systems team will level up Yieldmo’s capabilities in finance, accounting, HR, legal, and sales by selecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining all of Yieldmo’s internal business software systems and ensuring they produce clean, actionable data.

The ideal candidate is looking for the opportunity to make an impact on a fast-growing technology company. You are familiar with the alphabet soup of software systems that a growing company needs in order to scale, and may even get into passionate debates about your favorite ERPs, CRMs, HCMs, or EPMs. You not only enjoy visualizing how complex systems fit together, but also enjoy actually managing the implementations of your designs. You know that all business processes produce data, and you strategize up front about how it can be validated, organized, and visualized.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate various business systems vendors/products and select which ones to implement
• Design system implementations in conjunction with key business stakeholders and with an eye towards the strategic design of Yieldmo’s entire software ecosystem
• Project manage systems implementations
• Manage the rollout of new systems and features to key stakeholders and users
• Manage and groom the internal business systems product backlog
• Manage the development of continuous improvements and updates to internal systems
• Design a data model for Yieldmo’s business data and facilitate executive and management reporting via a visualization tool

Requirements

• At least 5+ years experience in roles that involve designing and managing the implementation of internal business software and data systems
• Experience implementing Netsuite or a similar ERP
• Ability to design and build data models to facilitate reporting on customers, financial performance, and other parts of a business
• Experience building management and executive reports in Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, or similar visualization tool
• Working knowledge of SQL and database design
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish
• Ability to manage engineers and contractors
• Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and rapport across the organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS

• Experience managing internal systems for a public company and ensuring they comply with all controls and regulations
• Experience managing a product backlog
• Python or another programming language
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Ad tech or media experience
