Joining Collibra's Sales Ops team:

Collibra is looking for an experienced Director to lead the Business Intelligence & Central Operations (BICOPs) team . In this highly visible role, this position will create scale across our Go-To-Market functions by driving global initiatives centrally and by building data, technology and process infrastructure. This leader will own, among other things, the buildout of our Business Intelligence infrastructure, driving improvements and rigor across our sales stages, coordination of our annual fiscal planning process and will act as the primary interface between IT, Sales, Customer Success and Enablement to accelerate the effective use of automation.  This is a cross-functional and high-impact role that requires a keen sense of ownership and drive. You should have strong analytical and project management skills, enabling key business stakeholders to understand requirements, shape analytical deliverables, and drive solid execution. This person will report directly to the VP, Strategy & Operations. 

The Director, BICOPs at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Acting as primary operations lead for the rollout of global sales initiatives including, for example, TAM & segmentation, sales process/methodology changes, account propensity algorithms, M&A integrations, etc.
  • Designing and executing against our Business Intelligence roadmap, working closely with Sales & Customer Success Mgmt and x-functional partners to develop a coherent array of tools, reports and dashboards to uncover new trends, gaps, and opportunities ultimately leading to more timely and effective business decisions
  • Coordinating the annual fiscal planning process, including tight partnership with FP&A and ongoing management of our operating model
  • Developing, curating and executing our strategy for leveraging sales technology;  Partnering closely with IT to prioritize, sequence and successfully deploy these tools 
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and outsource low value activities 

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Consulting, or related function;  4+ years experience with Salesforce CRM (or similar) relational database systems; MBA preferred
  • Experience working with senior sales and x-functional leaders; experience in high growth SaaS preferred
  • Track record of breaking down complex problems and proposing / effectively communicating thoughtful recommendations 
  • Track record of driving high impact, x-functional change initiatives
  • Track record of building and leading high performing teams

  • Relentless in driving results and business impact, particularly as it relates to lifting sales productivity
  • Passionate about being a data-driven problem solver, able to approach problems from multiple perspectives
  • Fluent in telling meaningful stories through the use of data and visualizations
  • Highly collaborative and empathetic;  hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves to address operational issues
  • This is a US-based role (can be remote)

Reporting to Collibra’s VP of Strategy & Operations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will immerse yourself in Collibra’s business and develop working familiarity with major initiatives in flight, the existing Business Intelligence roadmap, and the sales technology roadmap. 
  • By your third month, you will have (a) taken over and upgraded key roadmaps; (b) developed/socialized a new fiscal planning process; (c) established yourself as primary operations point of contact for critical global workstreams (sales tech, pricing, sales process, etc); and (d) hired a talented manager to support central initiatives. 
  • By your sixth month, you will have established strong working relationships with x-functional leaders and have built the foundation for meaningful influence.
