TEAM & POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Client Engagement Team (CET) is the analytic and consultative backbone of Analytic Partners. We believe that the most successful way to service our clients is to employ a business model where the people who are partnering with the client are the same as the people who prepare, analyze, and deliver insightful, data-driven results and guide clients to use our technology solutions to make optimal decisions. Analytic Partners does not offshore or outsource any of our work; it is all done in-house. Therefore, this high-touch service requires a passion for analytics, balanced with strong communication, a consultative approach, and the ability to deliver a software plus services solution, all to enable our clients to grow their ROI.  

At Analytic Partners, you will advise and partner with large, well-known businesses, many of which are Fortune 500 or 100 companies.  Your work will help influence their strategic and tactical planning for marketing and beyond, creating growth opportunities which are measured in the tens of millions of dollars.  We develop relationships with our clients and meet with senior audiences, from brand managers to media directors to head of analytics to CMOs, CFOs and CEOs.  You will learn, measure, and be an expert on marketing, from the basics to contributing to the latest innovations and developments. Our impactful insights are derived from our ability to build accurate and predictive models. A deep understanding of our clients’ data and business, in combination with our customized approach, allows us to “solve the puzzle” of what drives sales, profit customer accounts, brand health, or whatever it is our client wants to do more of.

You will work as part of a team, spending a portion of your day collaborating with colleagues and clients and part of your day working independently.  AP is committed to providing training through our immersive, onboarding Bootcamp which provides the technical and conceptual framework for applying these skills. Ongoing training from the latest methodologies to career development allows employees to grow and thrive at Analytic Partners.

The Director role is responsible for leading and cultivating client engagements and building and managing a team of consultants and analysts in the delivery of our solutions to major advertisers. The Director plays a prominent role as a client and team lead with hands-on involvement in project management, business interpretation and application, client communication, insights/results delivery and ultimately the adoption of technology and the analytics program within the client organization. Directors are also expected to share new and innovative ideas, lead/participate in global corporate initiatives. You will collaborate with your peers by developing resourcing plans, managing revenue goals, and contributing to new business development.

YOU WILL OWN & COLLABORATE ON:

  • Strategically manage a portfolio of accounts and provide thought leadership to delight the client; Understanding client business objectives and provide actionable insights and recommendations for analytic engagements including but not limited to Solutions Leveraging Big Data, Commercial Mix Modeling, Paid Owned & Earned Media Effectiveness, Cross Media or Multi-Touch Attribution, Test-and-Learn or Experimental Design, Pricing Strategy, Customer Segmentation Analyses and Marketing Investment Optimization. You will understand the differences and bridge gaps between various types of research & customer insights.
  • Provide hands-on Team leadership to ensure timely and effective client deliverables. Drive objectives by communicating and managing expectations; planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing progress; anticipating and diplomatically resolving potential issues with internal and client partners.
  • Drive efficient and effective client delivery, with an eye on account profitability. Be a steward for adopting technology, utilizing standard delivery approaches, ensuring consistent and robust documentation, and continuously improving our delivery process
  • Lead the team to develop and deliver insightful presentations that demonstrate tangible value and client impact. Providing expert consultative advice to clients with confidence and clarity
  • Infuse industry knowledge and business acumen to help drive adoption of analytic insights and software in client decision processes
  • Manage towards revenue and profitability goals. Work with the CET Leadership to manage client contract renewals and upsell opportunities. Actively seek opportunities to grow account relationships through additional solutions, brands, analytic dimensions, and geographies.
  • Collaborate with CET partners and Finance to keep financial systems up to date.
  • Partner with other CET Directors and VPs across regional offices to ensure sufficient and balanced resourcing
  • Train and coach new & existing team members, guiding career growth and leading performance management discussions
  • Lead and/or contribute significantly to internal corporate initiatives to drive a culture of agility and organizational efficiency for scalability
  • Contribute to the company’s overall growth by supporting and collaborating with the business development function to drive new customer acquisition and lead generation activities
  • Lead by example; Communicate, embody, and advocate for Analytic Partners vision and values. Support and drive a culture of accountability, empowerment and engagement while recognizing and appreciating diverse needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (ideal areas of study/related study include: Business Analytics and Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or Marketing)
  • 10+ years of experience with advanced analytic solutions across any combination of predictive analytics, customer analytics, machine learning models, digital media analysis, business focused analytics, advertising effectiveness or other related customer focused analytical solution
  • Proven success with client delivery of advanced analytics and big data solutions to deliver marketing and business strategy for companies as a consultant and or as an internal marketing, business/customer insights or strategy executive on the client side
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong account management and customer success skills
  • Cross industry experience: Auto, Financial Services and/or Retail is advantageous
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Project Management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize schedules
  • Strong client management skills to handle tricky situations diplomatically and manage client expectations
  • Experience leading and working with a team developing and delivering presentations with insights that deliver value to clients
  • The ability to occasionally travel domestically and/or internationally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
