Joining Collibra’s Strategy & Operations team:

The Strategy & Operations team at Collibra is responsible for defining and articulating where Collibra is headed as well as defining and leading the operationalization of that strategy. We are a brand new team as of September, and we are looking for a Director of Corporate Strategy to define and build a path forward for that arm of our group!

This person will oversee our corporate strategy in a highly cross-functional, collaborative role that includes maintaining the articulation of the company’s vision, mission, and strategy through research, analysis, and discussion. They will identify risks and opportunities for the business, and be responsible for leading key strategic initiatives across functions. Perhaps most importantly, they will contribute directly and indirectly to earning a reputation of excellence, collaboration, and fun for our new team.

The Director of Corporate Strategy at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Articulating and driving the ongoing evolution of our company’s competitive advantage and growth strategy.
  • Partnering cross-functionally and leveraging existing insights to build and evolve a shared perspective of Collibra’s largest opportunities as well as mid- and long-term plans.
  • Defining and enabling the success of major strategic initiatives.
  • Developing close partnerships and a center of excellence with key teams, both informing and being informed by aligned functions across Product, Marketing, Finance, and beyond.

You Have:

  • 8-10 years of experience across consulting, business development, finance, product management and/or product marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Extensive track record of driving clarity from ambiguity. Experience with B2B and SaaS businesses strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience building strong relationships with business partners across functions and geographies.
  • Experience leading complex, strategic projects.
  • Experience adapting and collaborating on financial models.

You Are:

  • Highly capable of identifying key strategic questions as well as knowing how to find their answers.
  • Both flexible and decisive, and know when to emphasize one or the other.
  • Equally comfortable playing the part of both supportive partner and confident leader.
  • Genuinely passionate about the value of focus and clarity to any company’s strategy.
  • Creative with your approach to your work and thrive on bringing positive energy to your work.

Reporting to Collibra’s VP of Strategy and Operations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month you will learn about our business, get to know your key partners, and start partnering on your first project.
  • Within your third month you will be managing one or more projects on your own, while beginning to map out a roadmap for the strategic components of Collibra’s operational cadence.
  • Within your sixth month you will be fully up to speed, helping to expand the team around you and confidently spearheading the execution of the roadmap you’ve laid out.
