Responsibilities:

• Lead all facets of warehouse operations in multiple facilities across the Freshly distribution network, including receiving of inbound materials, the efficient staffing and operation of automated Pick and Order assembly processes (in refrigerated environment) and all warehousing operations, and the dispatch of outbound finished goods freight.
• Play a lead role in optimizing the layout and design of DC and semi-automated order assembly systems, working with internal engineering and operations resources, and a leading provider of automated order fulfillment and material handling systems.
• Support identification and implementation of robust WMS system; develop and implement processes to manage all inventory and warehouse equipment including on-going maintenance plans.
• Participate in budget planning, management of specific budget items, and reporting of department activities, as well as validates all invoices.
• Integrate Lean techniques and methods in delivering best-in-class order pick and inventory accuracy, and maximum order assembly process efficiency.
• Drive the implementation and utilization of the appropriate ERP support modules, system technology, and internal systems supporting order pick, in-line ship label generation.
• Incorporate industry best practices in employee safety and sanitation.
• Effectively engage in cross-functional communication at all levels of the organization - key interface with Operations, CX, and Demand/Supply Planning.
• Develop a performance-based culture in the DC, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission and objectives.

About You:

• B.A. or B.S. Degree - Required.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience leading DC operations, including 5 years of multi-site responsibility (e-commerce fulfillment environment a plus, 3PL, or CPG).
• High level of analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
• CPIM or CSCP professional certifications a plus.
• Effective communicator both internally across multiple functions and vertically from Board to production floor, and externally with contractors, equipment manufacturers, etc.
• Strong industry connections with logistics/distribution industry providers, contractors, etc.
• Key leadership competencies in addition to high ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, building effective teams, and action orientation are fundamental imperatives.
• Demonstrated skill at conflict resolution.
