What you will be doing
As the Director of Inventory and Supply Chain, you will be contributing to our best-in-class concierge experience for our members by ensuring providers have all the tools necessary to serve our patients at the moment they need it. You will help to build out a system for inventory management in our offices, choosing the appropriate support tools and software, creating the standard work and collaborating closely with local teams to align on the metrics that we will manage our teams to. These workflows will play a critical role in pop up clinics, existing physical offices as well as newly launching offices. You will design these processes with the end users in mind, while always keeping the patients’ needs in the forefront. Furthermore, you will help support our patients at home by building the processes and structure that would ensure quick access to the appropriate at-home diagnostic test. This role will work closely with our physical expansion team and our local field leaders as an integral part of our Clinical Operations Team. This role reports directly to the VP of In-Person Services, Shannon Shiels. This is a remote-first role and has the flexibility to be located anywhere in the U.S.
What success looks like
- Work collaboratively with District Clinical Operations Managers and Pop Up Leaders to align on in-clinic and pop up inventory workflows
- Determine the key metrics to manage to at each level of the operations organization in each of the key in-person verticals: pop up, clinic and at-home diagnostics
- Find and implement the appropriate software and tools necessary to support our on the ground teams to effectively manage their inventory
- Co-lead (with local leaders) the training, development, and implementation of process improvements for all projects and applications
- Own processes that support expiration management
- Develop new office launch playbook for your domain that supports clinic readiness on the first day of patient care
- Scale our supply chain operations as we grow by building, training and developing a rock star team
- Drive down the cost to deliver care by ensuring minimal waste in our supply chain management
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management and supply chain
- 2+ years of management experience
- 3+ of experience serving as a lead in soliciting, defining, and managing requirements for internally developed processes, preferably in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business analytics or supply chain setting
- Proven track record of effective inventory process development
- Strong excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating insights through data with senior-level executives
- Strong relationship-building skills and communication skills
- Humble, not territorial, collaborative, high EQ
