The Role:

The Director of IT at DailyPay is responsible for the corporate hardware, network infrastructure and enterprise software services that all employees rely on. This job involves managing all endpoints through an MDM, Identity and Access Management and enterprise services such as G Suite, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian among others.

Reporting into the VP of Information Security, the right person will have had successes in building an IT function from the ground up at a rapidly scaling tech start up, as well as experience managing remotely across diverse geographies. Overall, we're looking for someone with an arsenal of effective tools, who's willing and excited to identify opportunities to innovate and create new systems for our growing organization.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Architecting and administering Jamf; building out a controlled, zero touch deployment while configuring profiles and policies that optimize employee experience 
  • Supports Gmail configuration and mailbox management including email routing, spam filtering (SPF/DMARC) and forensics
  • Develop an Identity Access Management strategy for the company
  • Owning access management for all our tools and systems
  • Partnering with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to optimize front end ticket workflows
  • Serving as on premise technology point of information and direction for questions from all New York employees while effectively addressing urgent user and system problems escalated by our MSP team
  • Supporting and maintaining in-house audiovisual equipment and non-print media assets; this includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading the various electronic products
  • Partnering with Information Security Team to implement their recommendations and best practices

What You Bring to The Team:

  • MacOS system (hardware) and application (software) installation and configuration experience required
  • First-hand experience with administration and architecture of Jamf Pro
  • Managing the lifecycle of fleets of devices in previous roles
  • Administering a variety of SaaS applications
  • Experience managing outsourced IT/technology support teams
  • Strong employee support/internal customer service orientation
  • Change management and communications skills
  • Able to translate technical concepts into items that non technical colleagues can use
