Director, Knowledge Management Strategy

As Director, Knowledge Management Strategy, you will have the opportunity to guide the end-to-end vision and strategy for internal and customer-facing content across IAS. You will focus on the planning, creation, delivery, and governance of content, ensuring that IAS teams and customers have well-structured, timely, current, useful, and usable content that is easily accessible at all stages of the go-to-market process.

What you’ll get to do:
- Develop, manage, and continually optimize IAS’s organizational-wide knowledge management strategy
- Work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders to audit existing documentation and identify documentation gaps and needs
- Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Product, Comms, L&D, Product Marketing, Partner Solutions, Technical Client Services, Scrum Teams, and other functional teams across the business to agree on content strategies and shared goals that enable cohesive experiences
- Use continuous improvement methodologies to measure, analyze, and improve content performance over time
- Drive efficiency by reducing waste in processes, automating manual tasks, experimenting, and innovating
- Advocate and evangelize the value of a content strategy, building and cultivating strategic partnerships along the way
- Dive into content at all levels, from mentoring and guiding content creators, to writing and editing impactful content
- Program manage across multiple teams to support and grow the impact of the knowledge management strategy (e.g., content technology, analytics, operations, go-to-market planning, etc.)
- Ensure that internal controls are in place and are functional
- Ensure the security, accessibility, and proper distribution of organizational documents and adherence to compliance process and procedure (i.e., SOX, GDPR, etc.)
- Escalate inconsistencies in documentation
- Plan and lead knowledge management strategy trainings and presentations and prepare and distribute incremental information and updates
- Assess documentation success through metrics and qualitative analysis
You should apply if you have most of this:
- 6-8 years of experience in content strategy and/or knowledge management
- Expertise in modern content strategy and content design methodologies
- Experience leading content strategy in a multichannel environment with multiple backends and frontends
- Functional knowledge of content management systems tools and technology
- Demonstrated experience influencing organizational change and developing fiscally responsible content programs that scale
- Strong judgment, able to take calculated risks despite ambiguity in a fast-paced organization with a high rate of change
- Experience working with Salesforce, Confluence, JIRA, Asana, and other service tools
- Broad familiarity with current content management tools
- Practical experience working with globally distributed teams
