We are actively seeking an experienced Director, Market Expansion to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives as we introduce new Medly retail locations nationwide. You’ll have the chance to leave your stamp on Medly’s next phase of massive growth. In collaboration with the Expansion Executive Team, you’ll help to promulgate the mission of Medly while owning the end-to-end process of new location launches and/or purchased pharmacy integrations through strategic management of a Go-To-Market (GTM) team.

This role can be based in any U.S. location and will require regular travel (~50-75%) to newly set up Medly locations. In other words... jet setters wanted! ✈ ✈ ✈


What you'll do:

  • Project owner for new/acquired and/or integrated Medly location launches
  • Execute all facets of a new location launch, from envisioning and developing the strategy to overseeing all operations that are essential to its success
  • Manage a GTM team that rotates on the ground as they implement new hire onboarding, facility preparations and launch playbook
  • Monitor new market performance to modify and elevate launch strategy, which entails doing post mortems, redesigning playbooks and developing new workflows
  • Provide feedback and coaching to local leadership and on-the-ground teams to ensure protocols are aligned with Medly expectations
  • Problem-solve challenges faced by New Market locations and implement solutions, working cross functionally to ensure long term results

What you’ll need:

  • Prior experience launching markets and project managing GTM plans – previous experience in retail integration a plus.
  • 5+ years of relative experience, mainly in fast-paced environments (startup, consulting, VC, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Agility to move quickly and execute decisions that are data-driven and result in successful outcomes for the company
  • Previous management experience in leading high-performing and HAPPY teams
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate across all cross-functional teams
  • A passion to provide world class customer service to all stakeholders
  • You thrive in ambiguous situations and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm to travel
  • Impeccable attention to detail
