About the Role:
In this role, the Director of Billing Operations will be accountable to building a high performing organization that has a significant impact on Risk Adjustment/Revenue goals. This will result in compliant, timely processing of claims with flawless acceptance rate. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at defining and executing process improvement that requires a high level of change management and cross-functional alignment, and comfortable navigating ambiguity with ease.
In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for developing a Center of Excellence that maximizes performance across markets for claims processing TAT / acceptance
• Assess and define the roadmap for infrastructure/technology, reporting, analytics, systems integration, vendor oversight, a staffing strategy - building the foundation for Cityblock to achieve national scale
• Flawless execution of roadmap across people, process and technology considerations

Requirements for the Role:

• Analytical, data-driven approach to decision making and performance management

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently with senior executives
• Self starter; Ability to operate independently with minimal direction
• Are an adept manager, a critical thinker with excellent commercial judgment, and an impressive written and verbal communicator with robust organizational and analytical skills, including expertise with operational and clinical measurement and performance management
• High level of integrity and management of confidential information
• Certified Professional Coding experience required.

• Intensive training in core business skills (e.g., 5+ years of management consulting, MBA, or similar experience)
• Leadership of Operational Reporting, Product teams, or day-day operations teams
• Experience in healthcare services
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) experience
