Position title: Director of Operations, DS Advisors 

Please note that this role will partner closely with Samvid Ventures, the philanthropic wing of our operations, and is employed by DS Advisors.  

Firm Description: 

We are a single-family office with an entrepreneurial culture based in New York and Miami. Our firm has a dual mandate: investment management and philanthropy, both of which are managed internally through dedicated teams of professionals. As the principals continue to build the organization, they believe in empowering their team with ownership over meaningful responsibilities. 

Job Description: 

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and experienced individual to lead our firm’s operations. This person will have operational oversight of the firm day to day and will report directly to ownership. The DOO should be comfortable assuming a range of responsibilities and adjusting priorities to meet challenges as they arise. A successful candidate will implement excellent processes and practices that allow the business to scale and run smoothly while creating leverage for the team’s professionals and leadership. This is an incredible position for an experienced leader to join a dynamic firm in a very senior role.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Overall control over day-to-day operations of the company 

• Design, implement and continuously improve business processes and systems 

• Set comprehensive metrics and goals for performance  

• Build, grow, and lead a high-performing team 

• Regularly present recommendations to the board 

• Manage relationships with partners/vendors

  Qualifications and experience: 

• BA or BS from well-reputed university; MBA a plus 

• Experience: 15+ years  

Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 

Location: New York City (mid-town) in office
