Director, Special Projects (Client Implementations)

Cedar is seeking a Director, Client Implementations to accelerate Cedar’s implementation strategy. The Client Implementations team’s goal is to warmly welcome clients to Cedar and to do so in a way that improves client satisfaction while reducing the time that clients spend in implementations. With the remit of making Cedar’s implementations easier for clients and Cedar, this role is passionate about defining and advancing strategic initiatives to improve our implementation engagement. Implementations play a strategic part in the client lifecycle at Cedar, which reflects a conversion from contracted ARR to actualized ARR as well as a transition from a prospect to live client. This role will directly partner with the VP, Head of Client Implementations to accelerate Cedar’s implementation strategy across all product lines.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and serve as a thought partner to the VP, Head of Client Implementations to build and execute creative strategies to accelerate our implementations across all product lines, making them easier for both clients and Cedar
- Independently lead strategic initiatives to accelerate Cedar’s implementation capabilities, including setting and tracking KPIs, driving implementation strategic efforts, and implementation analysis to inform staffing and areas for improvement
- Partner with the implementation team members and cross-functional Cedarians to understand closely Cedar’s and clients’ pain points related to implementation and proactively devise strategies to address these
- Synthesize themes and learnings across implementations to continue to build Cedar’s implementation tools, resources, and practices
- Contribute to a culture that adheres to Cedar’s values of focusing on our vision, using good judgement, applying a growth mindset, and rejecting mediocrity
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep experience in a role that provided expertise in working with health systems and/or payors, or B2B technology implementation
- Prior roles may have provided consulting experience and/or implementation experience working at a B2B company. EHR and/or RCM experience nice to have
- Strong analytical skills, which are supported by proficiency in, for example, Excel, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, Smartsheets, etc
- Creative thinker that is never satisfied with the status quo - and always wants to improve and innovate
- Intellectual curiosity, ability to build structure from ambiguity (creative problem solving and strong analytical skills) and a sense of ownership
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Deadline-driven, organized and able to prioritize optimally and sees things through
- Ability to build credibility quickly
- Encourages others to achieve and support goals
