What You’ll Do
As a Director of Strategic Client Management, you are obsessed with finding the best way to bring value to our clients; you hold the team to the highest strategic standards, and empower them to find solutions. You revel in surfacing new ways to drive business impact, and you work cross-functionally with ease to evolve and improve our offering. You are someone who has always struggled with how to answer the question of whether you are right-brained or left-brained - you tend to get just as excited about a fascinating data point, as you do about a killer piece of creative. You help your team of strategic client managers and associates tell stories through data, and guide them to drive client value at every touch. Your perspective across a wide range of clients helps us build better solutions, and you see your role as equal parts building client value as building VidMob.
Responsibilities include:
- Bridge analytics and creative by effectively translating data into action; merging science with art, and skillfully guiding the team through developing work that works - rooting testing plans and all recommendations in deep understanding of best practices, data performance, and brand / business strategy.
- Drive client satisfaction and client retention; helping your team deliver the value of VidMob, for each client engagement.
- Manage and grow a team of 10+ strategic client managers and associates, evaluating staffing needs as our business grows and identifying growth opportunities for your team
- Help evolve and operationalize our service models as new products are developed
- Contribute to executive level client engagements as needed
- Help establish and grow our international Strategic Client Management team across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- Partner with sales leadership to ensure that we are delivering a great client experience and driving value at all stages of our relationships.
- Partner with creative operations team to ensure optimal creative recommendations
- Test & learn new ways of working that can help lead our product development, contributing to product workstreams
- Be a positive contributor to the VidMob community and culture: participating in our commitment to giving back through VidMob Gives, positively problem-solving and collaborating to build a better company, and upholding
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of proven experience working in related fields (i.e Brand Strategy, Performance Marketing, Data Strategy, Creative Strategy) with an emphasis on client service
- Experience managing others with a track record of strong leadership
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (social, google, amazon, etc)
- Experience across the marketing funnel; with brand-driven marketers as well as performance-driven marketers.
- International experience
- Superb interpersonal skills; you build bridges and have high EQ. You have presence in a room, virtual or otherwise.
- Strategic and analytical thinker; you connect the dots, and delight in the application of insights to drive performance in creative storytelling.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once, while navigating complex webs of client needs, keeping a team on task and focused;
- Highly effective communication skills; intent-to-action oriented, you can proficiently articulate ideas and processes, and cut through the noise. You are an excellent listener and presenter.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven initiator who needs minimal guidance to achieve goals.
- Solutions-minded, and a hand raiser; you enjoy and value being part of a community.
- Naturally comfortable interacting with and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
- You are reliable, and excited to show up each day with a “can-do” attitude; you’re fluent in modern ways of working - you don’t miss a beat, working with and leading in a distributed workforce.
