Working alongside our Chief Operation Officer, the Director, Strategy & Operations will be charged with leading our strategic efforts as we build and scale a hyper-growth start-up. S/he will gain a broad scope of the organization to provide executive leadership guidance on implementing strategic initiatives. What You’ll Do

• Build and lead a team of ninjas that can tackle any strategic problem we might encounter while building and scaling a hyper-growth fin-tech company; coach and develop team members.
• Lead company-wide strategic planning, manage multiple cross-functional initiatives to improve operations, and provide strategic guidance back to the executive leadership team on how to build and scale the company. 
• Conduct external market analysis and research on the industry that informs medium to longer-term strategies (e.g. SWOT, M&A market mapping, etc.)
• Oversee the build-out of scalable processes, tools, standards, and reporting

Who You Are

• You likely have about 10 years of experience including 3-5 years in a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g. Bain or McKinsey), an MBA, and a few years of experience getting operational at a startup. 
• You love a good challenge and set the bar for excellence, you love managing people, and love working on a variety of things at once.
• You're familiar with financial services and interested in fin-tech/crypto, and passionate about people.

What We’re Looking For

• Ex-consultant with experience getting operational in a startup and has managed a team.
• Analytical thinker with the ability to break things down into small parts but also navigate to the strategic level
• Excellent people skills for working cross-functionally with executives
• High horsepower and multi-disciplinary thinker of people, technology, operations, finance, and strategy
• You know how to crush MS Office -- Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
