The Opportunity
Reporting to the VP of Underwriting and Customer Success, as Sr. Project Manager for the Underwriting team, you will conduct long-range planning for the departments services, implementing solutions and projects as approved. You will lead efforts to develop and maintain business resiliency/continuity plan associated with short- and long-term objectives. You will serve as a liaison with executives and departments heads to ensure that organizational goals are met.
What You Will Do
- Lead negotiation efforts in alignment with leadership at the department and wide-level.
- Lead cross-functional, diverse teams in the pursuit and implementation of projects with respect to project development, oversight, implementation, and operational management.
- Lead assigned special projects and initiatives as assigned by the VP of Underwriting and Customer Success including addressing issues associated with communication, resource planning, utilization, and process improvement in the management of projects.
- Act as a senior leader within mentoring and guiding efforts associated with the company’s goals.
- Drive planning processes to maximize resources, and an approach ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation
- Act as a primary representative for assigned areas of responsibility and initiates and maintains relationships with internal and external to advance work efforts and support strategic initiatives and goals.
- For areas of assignment, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of local, state and federal agencies.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field required
- 5+ years of related experience
