eCommerce Operations Manager

ClassTag is a high-growth Edtech start-up based in New York City, with a core team in New York and contributors globally. Backed by top VCs, reaching 2MM+ users and growing at 5x annual rate. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious eCommerce Operations Manager to join as the founding member of the eCommerce business.
You will be accountable for the availability and profitability of our ecommerce operations, initially focused on school supplies and related categories for elementary school classrooms.
Responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and negotiating contracts for inventory,.
- Operations and timely delivery at competitive prices.
You will be the expert in the company about who we should be using for suppliers, and getting the best out of them. You will report to the eCommerce Director.
Key outcomes (30 days):
- Source inventory and establish delivery operations relationships to support our new ecommerce efforts for classroom registry / wish lists
- Manage and maintain sourcing relationships for our back to school supply lists.
