Enterprise Infrastructure Manager
IEX is looking for an Enterprise Infrastructure Manager with the primary responsibilities for managing the technology team and services that support the IEX corporate and trading systems. This includes managing the end user support, system engineering, network engineering, and datacenter management teams. You should have experience with design, procurement, development, deployment, maintenance and support of applications and infrastructure. What you’ll do:
- Work with your team to maintain a stable, reliable, highly available and high-performance trading platform and corporate infrastructure
- Manage and deliver on the responsibilities of the Enterprise Infrastructure team to:
- Provide day-to-day operational monitoring and support of the data center and server infrastructure to support IEX core trading system
- Maintain business and technical operations
- Determine required hardware specifications and facilitate procurement of approved datacenter, cabling and server technology infrastructure
- Deploy and maintain corporate and trading datacenter, cabling and server infrastructure
- Influence design, development, and enforcement of the company Information Security policy
- Provide practical solutions and remediation of problems / outages
- Support various daily configuration changes required for the core trading platform and corporate infrastructure
- Proactively analyze and optimize trading infrastructure for increases in scalability, redundancy, maintainability, and reliability
- Actively participate in implementation efforts for special projects and drive to completion
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity sites
- Conduct performance testing and performance optimization of corporate infrastructure
- Monitor capacity and proactively plan for future capacity needs
- Provide onsite technology support for large meetings, events and conferences including audio/visual requirements; includes developing and maintaining related processes
- Define and execute a consistent Management Reporting strategy
- Drive troubleshooting of technology infrastructure problems and perform resolution of open issues with a focus on remediating root cause
- Manage on-call support service and escalation procedures to support corporate and trading systems as well as critical end user issues
- Manage the IEX end-user technology experience by providing seamless onboarding and technology provisioning including hardware, software, remote access and logical access
- Manage and maintain the full suite of end-user support tools including an approved technology list including applications and utilities
Your background:
- 5-7+ years’ of related experience in managing enterprise infrastructure teams and strategies
- B.S./B.A. in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Deep understanding of Systems, Network and Application support
- Hands-on experience with cyber security tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, log aggregation, data loss prevention, intrusion detection systems, phishing training)
- Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Perl, C, Go)
- Experience working closely with Enterprise Architecture and System Reliability Engineering teams
- Specialist knowledge of technologies used in low latency exchange environment to ensure low and deterministic latency for all messaging
