Box Global Security Office is a world-class security organization responsible for protecting our products, platform and customers data from malicious actors from around the globe. In the current security landscape, we want to continue to modernize our Enterprise Security and how we enable our employees to work securely from anywhere. We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Security Manager who will help us drive such program. Many of the world's largest enterprises rely on Box for managing and protecting their content. Our customers impose some pretty unique scaling and security challenges on our teams in general. We're up for the challenge. Are you?
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develops and maintains a security process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement a secure environment that is aligned with business, technology and threat drivers.
- Manages the staff and vendors to execute contracts and SLA's providing security services.
- Validates Enterprise infrastructure and other reference architectures for security best practices, and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risk. Guidance on Security configurations for security infrastructure tools, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), web application firewalls (WAFs), anti-malware/endpoint protection systems.
- Determines baseline security configuration standards for operating systems (e.g., operating system hardening), network segmentation, and identity and access management (IAM). Driving the process around the currency of the environment inclusive of patching, firmware and operating systems.

- Define and Execute Remote Employee Security Program for geo-distributed workforce and expand current end-point security program for advance threats.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field. certifications (or related job experience). The ideal candidate will maintain one or more of the following certifications.
- Experience with technical project management skills, ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented, and the ability to provide service delivery over Security Operations staff vendors to support mission critical systems.
