Events Lead
We’re looking for an Events Lead to join Snap Inc.! As a member of the Global Brand Strategy team, you will plan and execute events and other special projects for our company. Working from our New York office, you’ll collaborate with various teams across the company to build memorable experiences, manage event logistics, and maintain our brand as we scale.
What you’ll do:
Conceptualize and execute events and experiences at both owned and operated and industry-wide events
Identify opportunities to bring the Snapchat brand to life through event activations that inspire clients and partners
Work cross functionally to plan and execute logistics for global events
Develop comprehensive project timelines and create new visual branding elements
Make sure that events are planned and executed in a timely manner and within budget
Manage relationships with new and existing venues, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Optimize event ROI
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent negotiation skills and an understanding of contractual agreements with vendors and venues
Experience producing unique and innovative event activations
Strong communication skills with ability to demonstrate expertise with executive stakeholders
Can-do attitude; no task is too big or too small
Experience working with Google applications, Apple applications, and Microsoft Office Suite
Meticulous attention to detail on creative and design elements
Fluency in industry trends
Strong work ethic and ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Able to travel as needed
Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when needed

Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
6+ years of proven experience managing and producing global events
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in marketing or communications
Experience supporting sales and advertising initiatives at a Tech/Media company, or Production Agency
