BentoBox is seeking an Experiences Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This person will drive BentoBox awareness and growth through owned events, trade shows, sponsorships, conferences, and more. The Events Manager is on the marketing team and will report to our VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, production, and execution of all internal and external events
  • Manage trade show activations that drive leads and new customer acquisition
  • Coordinate event logistics, track budgets and manage vendors for each event
  • Identify, negotiate, and activate hospitality, food, design, and tech industry event sponsorships
  • Build a preferred vendor list, negotiate rates, and manage all relationships
  • Own each event run of show and communicate updates before, during, and after the event
  • Identify goals, perform ROI analysis, compile learnings, and distribute post-event results
  • Partner with other departments (sales, customer success, design) to identify new opportunities
  • Work with the internal design team and external vendors on event materials
  • Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and principles

Skills and Attributes

  • 4+ years of experience in event production and management for a hospitality brand
  • Extensive experience working with chefs, restaurants, catering, and production companies
  • Existing relationships and knowledge of vendors and venues
  • Operationally minded and obsessive attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple events at once
  • Proficiency creating and managing event assets including collateral, invitations, website etc.
  • Ability to stay calm and troubleshoot event challenges
  • Have a goal-oriented approach to all tasks and initiatives
  • Passionate about improving the hospitality industry and bringing our principles to life
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • Quarterly travel required
