We are headquartered in NYC but have a hybrid office environment with teammates all across the US.

This position needs to be located in NYC metro area

We are growing rapidly and looking to bring on a confident and experienced Executive Assistant to act as a strategic partner and support system for the CEO. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced environments, has the ability to manage complex projects, and thrives on helping leaders do more and be more effective. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including: assisting with special projects; drafting documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings, making travel arrangements; and completing expense reports. 
  • Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. 
  • Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. 
  • Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated. 
  • Coordinate Executive Team quarterly planning meet ups and assist with events as needed. 
  • Be a "gatekeeper" providing a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO and staff, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with the Executive Team.
  • Complete projects by working with the appropriate staff, including the Executive Team, on behalf of the CEO. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior executive support experience supporting a C-level executive in a high growth start-up
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel with ability to analyze data
  • Experience with G-Suite and Google Calendar
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior leadership, staff, and partners
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance 
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround 
  • Excellent judgment is essential, the ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information 
  • Ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice

The Mulberry office sits in Union Square with plenty of bars and restaurants. Plus, the office is easy to get to with various train and bus stops being close by.
