Global Head of Pinterest
This is an exciting opportunity to focus on a brand new line of business and help many of the world’s largest advertisers unlock the revenue potential of Pinterest advertising.
In this new role, you have the chance to build a sales strategy for a new product and interact closely with all the functions in the company acting as the liaison between the product and customer organizations for all things Pinterest. You also get to build deep relationships with the Pinterest organization who are very close partners with Smartly and committed to joint success. Internally the role is sort of a player-coach one where you oversee the success of the channel overall but also get out in the field helping sell the product to our most advanced customers and solving bottlenecks for them.
With a global scope, you report directly to Smartly’s Chief Revenue Officer based in London. This role can be based in New York or San Francisco. The role will have frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel especially to Europe.

As Global Head of Pinterest at Smartly.io, you will
- Closely cooperate with Smartly.io Product Management and Product Marketing in a virtual team to facilitate development of the tool and sales enablement
- Own developing the relationship with, and communication towards, Pinterest and their sales teams
- Nurture those relationships to facilitate feedback and potential client introductions from Pinterest teams
- Help Smartly.io sales teams become better at selling Pinterest and join in on key cases
- Represent Smartly.io in conferences and other events and speak on behalf of the company about Pinterest and our offering
- Report to Smartly.io’s Chief Revenue Officer on reaching the Pinterest specific sales targets
- Mainly focus on the US market but, when needed, assist in key cases in other regions
We're definitely looking for you, if you
- Have 5+ years of experience in digital advertising and, more recently, also experience on Pinterest as an advertising channel
- Have strong existing networks in the US you can tap into for sales and business development
- Are able to understand our Pinterest offering in detail to provide consultative sales to the world’s most advanced advertisers and communicate the value from daily users all the way to C-level executives
- Have strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences and industry events.
