Job Description
MarketAxess is seeking a seasoned Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager to join its growing risk management team. This position will report to the Head of Risk, Americas and work closely with business units, operational areas, IT and second line risk management functions as a thought leader in the maturation of MarketAxess’ Archer GRC platform. The GRC Manager will work with all levels of the organization for the delivery, maintenance, and maturity of the Archer GRC platform.
What You’ll Do
- Implement and mature the MarketAxess GRC program in a manner consistent with the organization’s strategic objectives and risk assessment framework
- Implement best practices such as change management, software development, user acceptance testing, information security, and application management for the Archer platform
- Act as an Archer platform subject matter expert, providing advice, training, reporting and support to business units, platform stakeholders, and the internal risk team
- Collect and analyze business requirements for new modules, enhancements and/or changes
- Ensure the overall design, layout and workflow of the Archer platform aligns with risk management standards, frameworks, and taxonomies
- Oversee the design, development and testing of modules within the Archer platform, including layout, workflow, reporting, notifications, questionnaires, access control, packaging, etc.
- Configure (sometimes complex) requirements within the Archer platform
- Manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) of the Archer platform
- Support the wider MKTX risk management agenda as required
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum of 7-10 years of direct Archer configuration and support experience with medium to large sized implementations
- Minimum of Archer Certified Professional
- Ability to independently complete work when needed, while collaborating with others at all levels across the organization and the three lines of risk defense
- Self-motivated, organized, and flexible
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills
- Process improvement, advisory and continuous learning mindset
- Experience working under tight deadlines with multiple deliverables
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Professional Risk Management certifications a plus
