The Job

Narrativ is looking to hire a passionate, results-oriented Growth Director to manage and grow our publisher partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to have a fundamental impact on the success of a rapidly growing startup. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Growth Managers (serve as Player - Coach) to grow key accounts and acquire new clients for the platform, as well as work to operationalize our go to market strategy.

You’ll be on the cutting edge of performance marketing as Narrativ is fundamentally opening a new acquisition channel for omni-channel retailers and new revenue stream for publishers. We operate at massive scale- your work will directly influence millions of dollars of revenue for some of the most well-known companies in the industry. 

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and coach a small team of growth managers to excel, including regular 1:1s, radical candor feedback in the moment, performance reviews, career planning conversations.
  • Directly manage a few top publisher relationships:
  • Run client meetings to deliver strategic insights & tactical recommendations
  • Be the main point of contact for client questions and platform troubleshooting
  • Identify opportunities to grow spend and inventory engagement
  • Structure and execute large-scale data analysis for end-of-month reporting
  • Monitor account performance against both Narrativ and client goals
  • Understand the industry and top publisher’s business objectives and align Narrativ’s offerings to help both parties to achieve our strategic and revenue objectives.
  • Design and drive customer insight strategy and dashboards
  • Manage bidding analyst to ensure daily platform bidding is optimized based on client performance goals
  • Partner with Narrativ’s product/engineering team to drive development of best in class solutions, which may include bidding optimization and account management tools via CPC algorithm, programmatic targeting, and advertiser/publisher dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years directly managing top publisher partners and 2+ years directly managing a small team of growth/partner managers.
  • Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank is also preferred.
  • Highly analytical and understand how to organize, synthesize data, but also understand the bigger picture and be able to communicate / persuade partners to take inspired action.
  • Prior experience with and will be able to:
  • Manipulate and analyze large data sets in platforms like Tableau/ Looker/ Excel
  • Draw insights from analysis and packaging in presentations to clients
  • Build deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Client management and relationship building experience that includes
  • Working with clients to achieve their goals
  • Identifying and executing on opportunities to grow client book of business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Enjoy working hard, have fun and learn a lot in a dynamic and faced paced environment
  • Thrive in a matrix organization and comfortable working with cross functional teammates at all levels
  • Self starter who can work with limited direction

Location

Our office was right in the center of Grand Central and very close to Bryant Park. But now we are operating fully remote!
