Head of Business Operations (Stealth Company)
This is a Head of Operations position at a stealth health tech and consumer goods company launching out of Redesign. The company is on a mission to improve people’s well-being by bringing to market a modern sleep wellness solution grounded in truth and supported by the latest in sleep science, data, and technology.
About the role
We are looking for a Head of Business Operations who will work directly with the leadership team and monitor/manage/drive all key initiatives to ensure alignment among functions, timeliness, cost and quality. The Head of Business Operations will also be expected to drive occasional business development and partnership opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Head up business operations across our Company - you own the heartbeat & cadence of our Company with a focus on driving strategic impact.
- You will serve as a critical member of the leadership team and play a key role in guiding overall company strategy and execution, reporting into the CEO.
- Ensure that all activities and initiatives align with organization and team vision/mission.
- Partner with leadership team to plan and track key initiatives including resources, funds, people, cost and timeline with a 12 to 18 month view.
- Facilitate healthy information sharing across different components of the business.
- Drive business development & partnership opportunities across the spectrum.
- Periodic reporting out with detailed status report for all activities & managing project timelines across all functions.
- FP&A - own P&L and forecasting.
- Depending on experience, skillset, and desire, you may have additional responsibilities for leadership of different parts of the organization and/or business intelligence.
Background and Requirements:
Significant experience operating with financial models and various business operations. Highly analytical.
Experience driving business development opportunities, partnerships, and deals.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with multiple stakeholders concurrently.
Confident executive presence & strong communication skills - comfortable working closely with leadership team and board.
Must be extremely well organized with strong problem-solving skills. Results-oriented.
Experience in Project Management as well as PMO software is a plus but not a requirement.
2-5 years experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity.
5+ years of experience in high growth start-up environments required. Exposure to both consumer goods and e-commerce valuable.
Experience in CPG FP&A or business strategy and forecasting a plus.
