Redesign is looking for a Head of Retail Development for Ever/Body, a company in its initial stages launching out of the studio.

What You’re Like:
- Are a big-picture strategist with understanding of a successful Retail development enterprise (real estate, design and construction management).
- Get passionate about experiential design and developing a best in class, highly supported, customer experience.
- An exceptionally organized skills with proven ability to successfully lead by influence and deliver projects to completion.
- A builder in every sense of process, plans, stores and teams.
- Have never said “that’s not my job.”
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, manage and execute the Ever/Body retail store expansion plan throughout the US, owning the process from site selection through store opening.
- Develop and prioritize real estate strategies and development timelines for new and existing markets.
- Lead strategy development across all store types, from popups to standard to flagship stores, in each market as appropriate.
- Develop a unique understanding of the optimal Ever/body offline customer journey, mirrored in store design flow and drive continuous improvements the designed experience.
- Work with Financial stakeholders to determine required site analytics, comps, and maintain knowledge of market conditions, trends, and transactions.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with our external construction and design teams to drive store openings on time and under budget. You’ll eventually build an in-house team to support our growth.
- Travel extensively to conduct due-diligence on all proposed sites and interface with landlords, brokers, and local leaders.
- Constantly obtain feedback and support from internal cross-functional leadership team.
What Else You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of experience overseeing Retail Development, specifically new store openings.
- Breadth of knowledge and experience in the end-to-end development process, from site selection, through architecture and design, construction management and eventually, store opening.
- A strong work ethic, natural curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently drive goals and deliver on deadlines (under budget!).
- Strong time management skills and experience managing numerous projects simultaneously.
- Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to attract and grow a team of industry experts.
