Key day-to-day responsibilities

 The Head of Service is an outstanding leader charged with inspiring, developing and empowering the technical team based in NYC and Los Angeles and will ensure the lead and follow-up of all technical projects for our prospects and customers in the US. In addition to his/her leadership responsibilities, he/she will be expected to serve as a Technical Account Manager on strategic accounts.

  •  Supporting Sales' communications with prospects and developing the right technical pitch to support the sale effort. Bringing technical expertise and consultative selling to the sales meetings with potential clients and elaborating on the benefits of the Smart AdServer platform versus the competition's. Conducting product presentations and demonstrations autonomously and with impact.
  • Estimating, planning and scheduling the implementation and configuration of the Smart AdServer solution with the clients' Ad Ops teams. Driving technical choices based on a deep understanding of the clients’ needs and organization. Ensuring full ramp-up through tailored technical training at the client's.
  • Maintaining and growing the relationship with a portfolio of strategic accounts, with a technical focus. Making clients aware of new features and identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities through a constant competitive watch. Partnering with RTB and other teams internally to optimize utilization of Smart AdServer's solutions and ensure customer success.
  • Acting as your strategic accounts' ambassador with the technical teams at Smart AdServer, orientating them towards the right support ressources and monitoring client satisfaction at every step of their journey with Smart AdServer technology. Partnering with Product Management and R&D to develop and test product specifications for new feature requests.
  • Helping build the Service team center of excellence, including sharing/developing best practices for client engagement, market information, customer facing training materials, internal documentation and driving global projects on tools, methods or new markets' openings.
  • Becoming a product and domain expert and turning into an active participant in profession forums and instances. Being a recognized speaker for Smart's technical offering beyond any specific client or deal.

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in computer sciences or another technology discipline
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in technical solutions consulting of which 1+ leading high-performance teams
  • Leadership and Project Management: You are an empathetic, competent and engaging character with an exemplary personality to lead and organize a team of experienced and diverse professionals coming from different technical backgrounds.
  • You have experience debugging in html, JavaScript, SQL or any other Web-oriented programming language
  • You are a problem-solver and multitasker who stays cool under pressure to deliver great things
  • You have superb relational skills (listening, presenting, training…)
  • You know how to clearly articulate technical solutions and adapt to your audience

  • You are keen to work in an international/multicultural environment. Experiences abroad is a plus

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Working on the AdOps team requires my team and I to collaborate with several teams. Aside from our collaboration with sales, we are consistently brainstorming ideas to bring to the product team to improve overall efficiency and enhance our existing platforms. We also work with tecteam on any existing issues that may negatively affect our campaigns.
