Head of SMB Operations

We are looking for a Head of SMB Operations to join Snap Inc. This leader and their team will be responsible for defining, implementing and managing the operational structures and processes that help us scale all the functions needed to grow and retain Snap’s SMB customers in an efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record as a senior leader, leading the analysis, design and implementation of workflows and processes across a range of functions. They have experience in third-party program delivery, and a keen eye for identifying and scaling processes and workflow opportunities. They are a strategic and analytical problem solver, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus and coordinate execution.
What you’ll do:
Craft and implement a governance model that sustains excellence in organizational performance, forecasts and outcomes, supply/demand planning, and financial rigour
Lead the design and implementation of operating models that predictably deliver against SMB strategic goals
Develop and manage the ongoing processes that support scaling of the SMB business unit
Design and implement optimized workflows and processes to enable functional teams’ delivery on goals. Identify gaps and implement scalable solutions and/or test new initiatives
Evaluate and analyze team performance and work closely with the functional management teams to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiencies.
Contribute to the business strategy for SMB as a part of the SMB business unit’s leadership team
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Support, Partnerships, Measurement, and Data Science to achieve business goals
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Complex multi-functional program management with effective governance and communication models
Rapidly scaling organizational design - process, tools, people, reporting
Process mapping, workflow design and optimization expertise
Detail oriented, hands on active leadership
High facility for data driven decision making
Operational mindset with proven ability to design and implement scalable processes across the customer lifecycle with continuous improvement
Proven expertise in large scale change management
Experience managing/influencing multiple teams with a wide-range of functional skills
Expertise in empowering and developing team members in a multi-site operational environment
Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization
High facility with CRM packaged software supporting marketing, sales and service automation
Experience simplifying complexity and effectively communicating with business and technical executives, as well as external stakeholders
Experience building and leading operational excellence and consulting teams of reasonable size and complexity
Experience working with companies of multiple sizes and stages in their development maturity (startup to global enterprise)
Experience or familiarity with delivering programs through outsourced vendor partners
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
12+ years professional experience in program management, B2B CRM, technology and/or management consulting
