Sales at Policygenius

As an Insurance Advisor, you will educate our clients on their options within our expansive life insurance platform. With leading life insurance carriers on our platform, a non-commission compensation structure (guaranteed base salary), and a culture of consultative selling, we are able to offer our clients a level of service that’s unmatched in the industry. No need to grind 365 days a year to build a book of business; because of our incredible marketing and reputation, you will be fielding inbound inquiries that come through our online platform.

Our model is unique - once you successfully get a client submit an application, our operations teams take over from there. This allows every client to get individualized attention while allowing our company to scale. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact in your customers’ lives while enjoying a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

In this role, you will...

  • Utilize phone, email, chat, and text messaging to communicate and onboard inbound life insurance customers into the application & underwriting process with a focus on customer experience.
  • Become a product expert on our life insurance partners while providing a consultative sale to match our customers with the appropriate products to suit their needs.
  • Collaborate with other operations teams (customer success, case management, quality assurance) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide actionable feedback to our business and tech teams to drive improvements in process and systems.

  • You have life insurance sales experience with an active life insurance agent or broker license.
  • You’re jazzed by the idea of consultative, non-commissioned sales techniques primarily via phone and text communications.
  • You’re motivated by truly helping people get the financial protection they need.
