Latch is looking for a Inventory and Logistics Manager to oversee all demand planning, asset management, logistics, and inventory control functions. As the inventory manager, this person will be responsible for the planning, procurement, and control of all unfinished and finished inventory in our supply chain. With multiple warehousing locations located in Asia and the United States, Latch needs a candidate with a strong history of inventory control. Experience with electronic hardware is a large plus. As the logistics coordinator, this person must have a deep understanding of both domestic and international shipping practices as well as an ability to control and collaborate with our 3PL providers. This person will utilize strategic partnerships to optimize both cost and speed of deliveries. We are looking for and experienced individual who will drive best practices across all of these functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of inventory, both at our local and our 3rd party warehouses
  • Working with our Finance and Sales team to lead demand planning across our product lines
  • Manage the order placement process in Netsuite, capturing all relevant information pertaining to each project
  • Orchestrate the shipment of goods from our international contract manufacturers to locations around North America in a timely manner
  • Coordinate directly with end customers and distributors to ensure shipments are arriving on time and to the correct locations
  • Utilize our ERP platform to generate inventory reports that will allow our team to correctly identify and plan for demand fluctuation
  • Implement a tracking system to move inventory from one location to another
  • Establish our process for consignment stock located at our distributors located across the US
  • Maintain documentation of key operational processes, system improvements and their revisions
  • Work with vendors on lead times, and costing around storage and shipment of inventory

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is a must. Masters degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally with heavy focus on demand planning, logistics, inventory management/flow, and order management
  • Experience in defining process within ERP or MRP systems. Specific NetSuite experience is a plus
  • Strong negotiations skillset
  • Experience moving high dollar value technology assets globally
  • Working knowledge of inventory control systems
  • Experienced in asset lifecycle management. Especially in an electronic hardware product setting
  • Knowledge of 3PL shipping and warehousing
  • Self-starter, with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
