IT and Compliance Engineer

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT & Compliance Support Engineer will assist with all matters relating to Information Technology and Compliance including responding to service desk tickets, managing identity access, performing software installations, and completing compliance audits.
What You’ll Be Doing: Support the IT and Compliance Functions at Spring Health
- Triage and complete service desk and access requests from Spring employees
- Manage the identity platform that governs application access
- Implement SSO and MFA for corporate solutions
- Implement new software solutions and platforms as business needs evolve
General Responsibilities:
- Administer core tools including G-Suite, Atlassian, Slack, and more
- Assist with day-today compliance reviews (third party vendor reviews, SaaS access reviews, data mapping, data privacy requests, RFPs, etc.)
- Develop and update standards, policies, and procedures as well as best practices documentation in line with compliance requirements
- Provide technical support to employees (typically OS and application issues)
- Help develop automations and tooling especially as it relates to on-boarding and off boarding flows
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in a computing related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT focused role
- Experience with some security certification processes such as SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
- Experience with scripting in some language (python for example)
- Self-starter, organized, efficient, and proactive
- Great communication skills
