Job Description
The IT Digital Workplace Lead will be responsible for managing and upgrading existing systems and recommending and implementing new systems to support SIMON’s workplace environment for users in the office and working remotely.  The role requires hands-on experience running and maintaining a cloud-based workplace environment involving Macs, Windows, Office365, AWS Workspaces, Okta, Jamf and Zscaler, among other tools.  Selected candidate will work with the Head of Infrastructure to establish an internal IT management team supporting workplace infrastructure across departments. This role will also require providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to the team of internal IT personnel and managed service providers to support the SIMON digital workplace environment. 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline
  • 10-15 years’ hands-on experience running and maintaining a workplace environment involving laptops with Macs OS and VM running Windows OS or Linux OS systems
  • Strong understanding of Office365 Administration (MS suite of tools, including email), Okta IdP, Slack, networks, telephony and video equipment
  • Experience working in a cloud first environment
  • Good understanding of MDM, Data Protection, Backup/Recovery and IT Security
  • Knack for identifying potential problems and inefficiencies within the IT space while proactively planning and executing remediation
  • Experience working with managed service providers in the IT space
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus and ability to communicate across a broad user base
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL, MSCE, ACSP certifications desirable

No matter which part of the team you join, there is something interesting to work on.
