OPPORTUNITY
Pager is a rapidly growing NYC health-tech startup looking for an IT Manager to help us scale our NYC office. The role includes everything from establishing policies and procedures to optimizing and scaling through automation.
This individual must demonstrate a good balance of technical knowledge hardware and software. This role, the first of its kind here, will be responsible for making the decisions to set IT up for scale as we grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer Application support, including G Suites/Google Apps, endpoint security and Slack
- Build, scale, and secure our corporate infrastructure and services
- Evaluate new technologies, prioritize their acquisition, and make decisions in alignment with IT roadmaps and business requirements
- In addition, you will participate in supporting our in-office employees and be expected to efficiently field email, walk-up, and Slack IT requests.
- Provisioning, employee onboarding and offboarding, account setup and deprovisioning of user accounts and hardware
- Procurement, inventory management, and decommissioning of hardware/software
- Setup and support of AV equipment in conference rooms and All-Hands areas
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of IT experience
- Experience in Healthcare or a start-up environment preferred
- Full knowledge of MacOS, iOS and Windows computing
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - default collaborative
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with support and administration of Casper Suite, Okta, LastPass Enterprise, and Active Directory.
- Experience with HIPAA and strong security practices
