Whip Media Group is looking for a New York based IT Manager to act as a hands-on player/coach on the team responsible for all of our in-office IT infrastructure and global systems. Our users are global, using multiple operating systems and this role is integral to scaling our organization's IT footprint in a secure and automated way.
How you will contribute:
- Drive a self-service culture through enhancement of employee capabilities and access to knowledge
- Providing co-workers with a Single Point of Contact for IT Service Desk Support
- Enforcing Information Technology policies and procedures
- Administer the IT infrastructure, including the office networks, Active Directory, ADFS/SSO, and GSuite
- Create and maintain relations with technology solution providers and outside vendors.
- Work closely with our People Ops team to onboard new team members and provide guidance on the use of our tools and technologies.
- Work with various internal clients to maintain the IT and A/V infrastructure in our office globally.
- Annual travel to our offices in the UK as well as LA to ensure IT is running smoothly in those locations
To be successful in that role you need:
- Experience supporting 50-100 employees.
- Experience with managing enterprise-level tools and technologies.
- To be customer service driven and excel at providing the best possible user support experience
- IT asset management and organizational skills
- Configuration management experience with JAMF, Windows GPOs, and SCCM
- Experience with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and MacOS
- Experience managing Active Directory, ADFS,Okta or Onlogin
- Experience deploying, administering SaaS applications and tools like GSuite, Office365, Zoom, Jira, Confluence and Slack
- A/V hardware experience with Zoom Rooms
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
